Brands used to be formed from people's needs and desires, but now (most) people are being formed according to the needs and desires of the brands.
Think about it.
Do you buy a product because you are really in need of it, or do you buy it because the brands tell you that you need it?
And... you believe them.

You ask but you choose not to say your own preference. That is not fair, is it? I buy when I need but then I go for the brand proven satisfactory to, not because it is popular.
What catagory do I fall into?
Happy new year
Salam Pakcik :)
I very seldom buy non-perishable stuff. When I do buy, the item should be worth it's price-tag and quality seems good - regardless of brands.
I try not to add on to the wealth of the well-known filthy rich. I swear to myself, I won't ever buy any 'Coach', 'LV' or what have you bags or wallets. The "worth it's price-tag" condition, keeps me off those overly priced items. I don't want to pay for their high-end rental & advertisements.
But I guess there are items where you have not much choice - like the phones, because of it's available functions that are beneficial to me. So I'm kind of a loser there. :P
