A good conversation.

The profit of a good conversation is something learned and betterment initiated.

One of the attributes of a successful person, is that he is able to turn away from "vain talk" That is, conversations that are idle - and brings no benefit whatsoever.  Worse if the conversation brings harm to ourselves or to others (as in backbiting or spreading rumours).

I want to say more - but I think you can figure out for yourselves what constitutes a good conversation and what is not.

The Raintree Unit for Sale

Hello Potential Buyers,

I am the owner of this condominium unit which I have to sadly sell away.

The condominium is situated just next to the green Nature, i.e. the Bukit Timah Hill Reserve, yet near to town (about 12 mins drive).

It's a place where you can have privacy, and yet a place where you can meet others (locals and expatriates) within The Raintree @ Bukit Drive, if you want to.

Our unit is a corner and spacious unit that was originally a 4 bedroom unit - but we have turned one of the room into a library. So now it's a 3 bedroom unit with a built in library room (you can turn this into a bedroom if you wish), a dining area and a living room, with a kitchen and laundry area.

All bedroom wardrobes, dining room cabinet, and kitchen cabinet are fitted. All main rooms are fitted with air-conditioners. The total area of this unit is 1547sqft / 147m2.

Since this is a corner unit, this means that this unit has a range of 180 deg view. You cannot get the same kind of unit with multiple views in any other units in the condominium - of course apart from the units above and below us.  We are on the 5th floor and there are only 2 units above us.

The living room, with a small balcony, and one of the bedrooms faces the swimming pool, which makes you feel like you're in a resort. The library room, with a bay window, also faces the swimming pool - there you can sit at the bay window to enjoy your book.




The Master Bedroom has a full bay window on one side facing the swimming pool, continuing to the the other wall, which is facing the hill side greeneries and sunrise.

There is a small TV console beside the window. 

The bed usually faces the window where you can see BEAUTIFUL hues of colours in the sky during sunrise and sunset. A scene I will surely miss the most.



The other bedroom, faces the greeneries and the long winding road leading to the condominium. When it rains, dreamy fog hangs around the greeneries creating such a tranquil sight.


The living room is fitted with mirror and TV console.

The walkway to the bedroom is welcoming, with wood flooring and wood strips for the ceiling.


The kitchen is spacious enough for 2-3 person to be preparing dinner at the same time.  Equipped with cooker, hob, oven and the spacious 2 door refrigerator.

Behind the door is a yard, where you can do your laundry, and a small room that you can use as a store room or maid's room.

Here is a view of the dining & living room when fully furnished.  (Movable furnitures are not included).  The dining room has a full cabinet on one side, where you can store all your crockeries and table decorations.



On top of all this, the location of the condo is also very ideal for car owners. It is near to the main PIE highway.  On your way home, you can exit the highway at Bukit Timah and in 3-5 mins you are on the road, lined by greeneries leading to the condominium - it's truly a welcoming and relaxing ending drive home.

Our asking price is SGD1,950,000 negotiable. (approximately USD1.4 million ).  Also included in the price are all the day/night curtains (so you don't have to worry about making curtains) and lightings.
