You know.. there are much BIGGER problems in life, and in the world, and in ourselves, than the issue of what another person did or did not do to us. No doubt, sometimes, your feelings are a bit affected. But, if we quickly try to remember, that our life is a test, that the final destination is God, and that our problems are nothing, compared to the bigger issues facing other people around the world, then insyaAllah, you can erase the negative feelings and thoughts.
Have a sweet day :)

salaams. this is good advice and a timely reminder. thank you.
True.. Easier said than done though, especially if we're being overcame by emotions n the fact that Syaitan will always standby to add fuel to fire. So, stay cool, try to 'dzikrulLah' at all times and think before we act upon anything. WalLahu'alam.
beautiful entry, this one is. no elaboration is required. brilliant ...
thanks you all..
i don't know what to say at this very moment. :p
:)
islam also teaches us to develop and maintain good ties with fellow Muslims and non-Muslims. whilst of course there are bigger problems in the world out there, it is also equally important that we treasure our family ties and friendships for the sake of love and peace :)
just my 2cents worth
correction :
Thanks, u all. (or i could also type thank you all). :p
Anonymous,
That's very true. :) And for that reason too, we should not make worse any issues we have with families and friends. If something happens, think of it as 'it's nothing'.. and move on already. No question about severing ties - we don't need to be so dramatic like that. :p
As an informal saying goes, "Relak ah brader"
If it's the other party who has severed ties with you, and you've tried to make good but it does not work, then just back off, but never with the thought of severing ties. It's more like.. 'whatever makes their heart calmer, and happy' :).
Still I feel like I've said, all these kind of stuff, we should not make them a major problem in our lives. InsyaAllah. :)
