She looks so cheerful and jovial - among her friends,
so confident, doing the stuff she likes.
She's quite fashionable and attractive.
He woos her. She responds.
Then he wants to keep her to himself.
She loves him, she listens to him.
She stop seeing her friends.
She stop doing the stuff she likes.
She dresses down, as per his request,
and she's with him all the time.
She grows dependent on him.
He is all she has now.
Then he sees..
She's not as cheerful and jovial, anymore.
She's not as confident as before.
She's not as interesting as before.
She's clinging to him ALL the time.
She's kind of boring.
Then he sees ANOTHER girl,
she's interesting.. the way she is.
what am i trying to say?
let ur wife continue to be the interesting person, u once fell for.

same goes for the wife - to their husband too :)
But if the husband or wife starts becoming uninteresting, it would not hurt to spice him or her up again to bring back that old charm :)
I agree wholeheartedly with you Erni. We should be grateful to Allah swt for the gift that HE has bestowed upon us and let the love grow and grow everyday till death do us part. Don't try to change a person for what he or she is worth.
