I am truly pleased to hhear that you would be posting regularly. And your response to my comment was that you wanted your blog to be your "personal space to record my thoughts - some of which I may want to refer to in future".
My aim is quite similar except it is not for me to refer to in future but for my children and grandchildren (ten of them, the eldest is in his nineteen) to read one day and understand who their 'old man' was like in real life. I would want them to know what it means to be of service to mankind apart from own selves.
You write briefly matters concern in life, from reference to Quran and world-recognised books. You write in proper and acceptable language; one presentable to scholarly readers. There are very few I enjoy visiting - doing so out of courtsey. Recipe, expensive restaurants, luxury trips and beautiful pictures are not for an old man, whose time is limited.
