How I want to travel

I'd love to go to other countries.  But somehow now, I don't think I'll ever like I've really been there, unless I live there.  To live there means, to work or study there.   Which means that you'll need to travel from your dwelling place to your place of work/study with other locals, perhaps to also get groceries for your own consumption.  The longer the period the better, but even 1 week of doing that, is enough to have a glimpse of the lives of the locals.

Travelling to a place to eat out all the time and only visit tourist attractions - no longer means having been to a country, for me.

I would love to learn and explore the interesting and beautiful countries of :

1. ..say Egypt perhaps, to learn Arabic - maybe 3-6 months.

2. Korea during autumn/winter, learn Korean 1-2 months. (yes, ok i recently watched Korean dramas)

3. Spain - learn Spanish 1-2 months.

I think that's all for now - the dream.  Will it ever come true?
If Allah have written it for me I guess.  Insyaa Allah. Aamiin.

My only criteria is the place where I stay has a clean running toilet and a clean bed.

p.s. I'm suddenly reminded of the time when I was in Osaka.  I was quite depressed when I first arrived, because I had to leave my young kids to work there for a week.   The hotel room was so small.  I decided to go down to the supermarket and get me some beautiful flowers to place in my hotel room.  It actually cheered me up a bit.  *Tip.

So if you are visiting East Caost you newed to study the starge Malay used there.Otherwise, why bother, these states only offer rain and flood and certainly no proper toilets. See I say in my recent posting.

In a hurry I made so many errors ;

need, not 'newed'
strange, not 'starge'
See what I say, not'See I say'

That is what the long driving in the rain and flood has done to an old man's faculty in writing and spelling!

Hope Allah has been keeping you & wife in good health.

Waalaikumsalam wr wb,

Hope you're in the best of iman and health!

:D I've actually subscribed to the channel and learning slowly.. sometimes in hiatus.

I'm still lacking a real teacher to ask immediate questions when I'm in doubt.

Insyaa Allah I can learn online - but it's still so different to be 'forced' to learn it everyday and be surrounded by the language everyday.

Still insyaa Allah.. May Allah make it easy.

Thank you.
