God forbid that vice be embraced

"Vice is a monster of so frightful mien
As to be hated needs but to be seen;
Yet seen too oft, familiar with her face,
We first endure, then pity, then embrace."
― Alexander Pope

What will happen when there is no one left who would invite to all that is good, enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong (in a wise and respectful way, if I might add)?

God forbid that vice be embraced by all.

When it gets philosophical, Quranic values must be the basis for us Muslims. They are great poets and philosophers but they do not embrace hat we do. Their thoughts are of no consequence to us.

Salam Pakcik.

Of course, Qur'an is our source. And Hadith. That is our guide.

Insyaa Allah, I only share quotes or poems from others that are in line with our Qur'anic values. Mainly observations, rather than new ideas.

We don't need the seven habits etc.. we have our Rasulullah SAW as the best guide on how to live and live with others.
